    Margaret and Helen is Right

Margaret and Helen weigh in on the lack of  important news coverage in America.  Or put another way, these two wise souls discuss the copious amounts of drivel which parades as news spewed by huge corporations with agendas that are inimical to the best interests of our citizenry.

Just to give you some perspective:

    1925 -  Ku Klux Klan – 35,000 KKK members [...]

    Sociometrics

lthough I am a native Washingtonian, Seattle born, I knew nothing about Vancouver until I came here in 1992. It did not take long for me to appreciate why some people–including native Vancouverites–refer to Vancouver as “Couve Holler” or “Vantucky”. In the apparent establishment, such as it is, the same names, associations, backgrounds and networks kept coming up over and over. And in [...]

    marmalard? dead. neidermeyer? …

They may have passed cloture on the FISA bill (scumbags), but the bill is still out there, and I’m enough of a pollyanna to think we may still be able to do something (this is an election year, after all).

Mrs. Clinton referred to herself by the first-person pronoun 64 times in her speech, and Mr. [...]

    DNC Rules Rationally

    Image via Wikipedia

Despite a rude Hillary Clinton supporter group in the audience, the DNC came to a compromise restoring 50% of the delegate votes to Michigan and Florida and weighting the pledged delegate allocation in favor of Senator Clinton.

IMO the most rational decision would have been to deny all of both states’ delegates due to their failure to abide by [...]

    My last post about Clinton

Image by Tony the Misfit via Flickr

At least I hope it will be my last. I have never understood the fascination the media and the American people had for Hillary Clinton. And I use the past tense here intentionally. I always saw her more as a power monger than a power personality. She just never did it for me. So to [...]

Dean says FL and MI resolved by June, Hillary is waiting

Do you think resolving Florida and Michigan will get Hillary out of the race? Not a chance. “Obliterate Iran”, bringing out Bin Laden in attack ads, asking why Obama can’t win Pennsylvania when a year ago nobody even knew his name there. Hillary knows very well how to play this game. Why do these tactics always seem to work? The person that makes [...]
