UPDATE: I was wrong. Mr. Osbrink was trained in the use of weapons; he is an Iraq war vet who earned a Bronze Star for two instances of courageous action. Neither of these facts were included in the initial story I read this morning. I admit, when I read that Mr. Osbrink “shot and killed his wife as he was practicing his draw,” [...]
