From the Columbian:
A flap over a pair of $50 campaign contributions is prompting CVTV to retape interviews with two candidates for the state Legislature.
The city-county cable television agency said it will redo the 10-minute interviews after Pat Campbell, one of two Democrats trying to unseat Rep. Jim Dunn, R-Vancouver, in the 17th Legislative District, complained about having Tony Bacon question the candidates.
Bacon, publisher of The Daily Insider, regularly interviews candidates and politicians on CVTV. Bacon’s wife, Nancy, in March contributed $50 to Jack Burkman, Campbell’s opponent in the Sept. 19 primary. The Bacons also jointly gave a $50 contribution to Burkman in July.
