It sounds to me like his effort will fail but it will make him look like he tried to do something. Politics as usual.
I’d like to know how low the approval rating of Congress has to go before anyone really gives a damn. Zero?
If the approval rating of Congress is 18%, why will Brian Baird be re-elected?
Something is terribly wrong when we disapprove of our representatives and yet we re-elect them to office over and over again.
And then we wonder why our government is not working?
