Ellen Ratner of Talk Radio News Service was on our local AAR affiliate this morning, and in response to host Carl Wolfson’s opinion that Hillary Clinton would get out at the end of the primaries, Ratner said she believed Clinton would take the fight to the convention no matter what the outcome of today’s primaries, or the Rules Committee meeting at the end of the month, or the decisions on whether and how to seat Michigan and Florida.

Ratner based this on the fact that her sources within the Clinton campaign told her that investigators had been hired by Clinton to determine the viability of an independent run in November, and that this tack was only abandoned when they confirmed their inability to get Clinton on the ballot in all 50 states.

So, fuck the party, right Hillary?

Clinton cares nothing about her supporters, her party or her country if it does not serve her ambition and her ego.

She will never go away quietly, and so Barack Obama must not give her an inch. This battle may be more bruising than the fight against McCain in November.

Unfortunately, I think we’ve seen only a small fraction of what she, Bill and their group of DLC loyalists are capable of.
