Hi Y’all,
Pete Aller here. I’m the new Chair of the 17th Legislative District Democrats. The Sizzling Seventeenth meets monthly at The Waterford at Fairway Village in the Forum Room . The address is 2911 SE Village Loop just west of 164th Avenue behind the I-Hop. We meet on the 4th Monday of each month at 7:00 PM.
We established a timelime of activites last month to carry us forward to successful elections in November 2008. We found no slack period from now ’til then. Current activities in February and March of 2007 is to line up volunteers, Precinct Committee Officers (new and old), neighbors, and the curious, for voter id and general alignment on issues and candidates.
We welcome your attendance at the next meeting, Monday February 26th at 7:00 PM at The Waterford. Bring a curious neighbor, spouse, or a child taking a Governments class.
