Enough of the D.C. Dems

I’d add “outlaw paperless electronic voting” to the “three issues” Molly thinks the Dems should make happen right away. But I’m sure they’ll find a way to continue to misrepresent or ignore their constituencies and make it look like they are actually doing something.

Feinstein to Introduce Electronic Voting Reform

Senator Feinstein is the incoming Chairman (yes, Chair-man, not -woman; see below) of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee. The following is a press release from her office announcing her intent to introduce legislation requiring paper records of all balloting:

Here we go again. Exit polls don’t lie, black boxes do.

Fixing this should be number one in the “first 100 hours”. 3 million of our votes didn’t count. While we are at it, let’s abolish the electoral college and pass publicly funded campaign legislation. These are the things that must happen before we will ever get a government that REALLY [...]

Celebration Weekend

Sorry I’ve been so distracted….
…I’m a little overjoyed at this point. Y’know what I mean?
I can’t believe things turned out the way they did. It seems like the last six years have one depressing revelation after another. The last two were especially f**king bleak. We saw the dissolution of nearly everything that made America great. [...]

Credit Unions (CUs) are bastions of truly democratic, cooperative spirit in our increasingly monopolistic, hierarchical corporate world. When you join a credit union, you become a member. Each member has one vote towards electing the volunteer board and supervisory committee members of the credit union. The “one member, one vote” rule holds [...]

It is time to act, not placate, ONCE AGAIN!

Robert Shetterly asks us, When is a Crime so Great it Shouldn’t be Acknowledged? It’s like everyone is still in denial regarding the verbal and physical abuse of the last six years… Please, stop enabling the criminals!
Massive crimes have been committed. Our administration has ridden roughshod on our Constitution as though it were [...]

Campbell wins maybe?

As of 5:15 pm today, November 9 only 144 votes separate Campbell and Dunn in the 17th LD race. The 144 votes represent less than .5% of the total votes cast. This one is close! Ouch!
