Prescott Bush Meant to Overthrow the Government

Or did he?
An upcoming BBC report claims that W's Grandfather – who was convicted of trading with Nazi's in WWII – was also involved in the famous 1933 Business Plot, a fascist coupe attempt that was meant to unseat Roosevelt and install a capitalist-friendly military dictatorship in the US. It was reportedly foiled by WWI hero Major General Smedley Butler, author of the pre-Eisenhower military industrial complex rant War is a Racket.

If this new allegation concerning Prescott Bush is true (even the very existence of the Business Plot is debated to this day), it wouldn't be particularly surprising – but for me whiffs fairly of revisionist history , i.e.: inserting a now famous person (by extension) into a past, insidious conspiracy. Why would this come up now, while his heir apparent is on the throne, instead of all those years ago, or when he was being investigated for trading with the enemy post-WWII?

It's enough to make me think that perhaps there's something to Dave Emory's Underground Reich theories.
