Some right-wing nutjobs paid The Oregonian to put an anti-islamic DVD into the Sunday paper (yesterday’s). It’s a deceptive dog-whistle to scare people away from Obama just before Oregon and SW Washington residents receive their vote-by-mail ballots.
There’s a protest downtown in from of the Oregonian’s offices this morning at 10 a.m., but I’d like to turn lemons into lemonade.
If anyone wants to send me their DVDs from yesterday’s Oregonian, I will make them into a huge Obama sign that I’ll put up on one of the major freeways in the Portland area. Since they’re reflective, drivers should be able to see the sign especially well at night. Please send the DVDs to:
