FWIW, I just received this email from the Clark County Dems Central Committee:
ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BECOMING A PRECINCT COMMITTEE OFFICER (PCO)?
You should have received your ballot in the mail already. If you want to be more involved and become a PCO, look on your ballot and see if there is a Democratic PCO in your precinct or not. If the space is blank, write in you name! You can also talk to your neighbors to encourage them to fill out their ballots and write in your name too!
The excitement surrounding the Obama campaign and all of our candidates has increased interest and participation at CCDCC events! We want more people to be involved and share their ideas and energy and strengthen the Democratic party presence in Clark County by becoming PCOs! So, complete your ballot and write in your name if the Democratic PCO space is blank! We look forward to seeing you at the next CCDCC meeting scheduled for Monday, August 11, 2008 at 7:00pm at the ILWU Longshore Hall on 1205 Ingalls Street in Vancouver! (map)
