I heard Rachel Maddow talking about this yesterday and was appalled. I guess it's easy for some people to forget, but it's on my mind every day.

Can you imagine if there was only 2 minutes of war reporting per network per week during WWII (radio) or Vietnam?

I am so freaking sick of hearing about Tiger Woods' knee. He's a millionaire - he'll be fine even if he can't work another day in his life! It's the rest of us we need to worry about - particularly those of us serving overseas or waiting and hoping for friends and family to come home safe.

I guess war is only good for the war-profiteering side of GE if NBC keeps its viewers deaf and blind to what we're actually doing over there.
