(That’s me holding the boards being broken.)
This weekend L. and I had the privilege of helping a group of fellow tae kwon do students earn their blackbelts or advance their blackbelt rank (from 1st degree to 2nd degree and from 2nd degree to 3rd degree). It’s a long test, about 3½-4 hours, but at the end of it you are high as a kite from all the effort and camaraderie. I was grinning like an idiot the rest of the day.
Congrats to all those who advanced. It was a thrill.
