Despite a rude Hillary Clinton supporter group in the audience, the DNC came to a compromise restoring 50% of the delegate votes to Michigan and Florida and weighting the pledged delegate allocation in favor of Senator Clinton.
IMO the most rational decision would have been to deny all of both states’ delegates due to their failure to abide by the rules. But I accept the decision of the DNC and understand that sometimes compromises are necessary in an imperfect universe.
Now the $64,000 question is will the respective candidates (in particular one of them) accept the decisions and allow the campaign process to move on gracefully and forcefully so that the presumptive nominee can be permitted to engage his complete attention and efforts towards defeating his GOP opponent?
