My email this morning to Mark Green and Air America:

So, Air America decided not to renew Sam Seder’s contract.

You have just canceled the last reason I had for listening to Air America, and to subscribing to Air America On Demand. And so I’ve cancelled my AAR subscription.

I am heartbroken, not only because Sam was such a part of my week, but because I had such high hopes for Air America.

You’ve plowed under Morning Sedition, the Majority Report, the Sam Seder Show, Randi Rhodes, Mike Malloy, everything that made AAR worth listening to. And Rachel Maddow’s show now hardly has any Rachel at all.

It will be sad to see AAR die its inevitable death of a thousand cuts, but you all wielded the knife.
