America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known.

So, Jews should be grateful for the Holocaust, because without it there would be no Israel?

How about we take 600,000 of this country’s most self-satisfied, pasty-white slavery apologists and send them over to Africa for 400 years, the first 300 as slaves and the next 100 as barely-tolerated sharecroppers. Since leaky slave ships will be hard to find, we’ll torture them with coach class seats on America West, complete with in-flight meals.

When Pat and his cohort begin to whine about their inhuman treatment in the oilfields of Nigeria, or the cocoa plantations of Côte d’Ivoire, or the whorehouses of Tanzania, we’ll just remind them how grateful their progeny will be 500 years hence (when Africa may well be the only remaining livable continent) for the foothold gained by Whitey. It was against Whitey’s will, certainly, and many will have died from beatings, overwork, Malaria and AIDS along the way; and, it is a drag having no control over your life or destiny, and no right to own property or marry or even have children at will; and Whitey may have to go without the right to political self-determination for a few centuries; but it will all have been worth it to end up as a permanent minority and object of suspicion, prejudice and fear in a land where you might have great opportunities so long as you wear the right clothes and speak the right way - and never, ever, bring up the topic of race.

So, have you got those bags packed, Pat? I know you’re eager to get Whitey’s journey started. History awaits!
