We have Ferraro implying Obama has an unfair advantage because of his skin color. But this just disgusts me and makes me ashamed to be an American:
Rep. Steve King of Iowa said Monday that he won’t apologize or back down from his prediction that terrorists will be “dancing in the streets” if Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is elected.
“I don’t see that I have made a factual or judgment error. What I see are some people that are super-sensitized and I apparently have touched their nerve,” the Republican from Kiron said in an interview with The Des Moines Register. “No one has rebutted my argument, so I have to say I must be right.”
King aroused outrage among Democrats when he said in an interview Friday with an Iowa radio station and newspaper that Obama’s “middle name does matter” because “they read a meaning into that, the rest of the world - it has a special meaning to them.“They’ll be dancing in the streets because of his middle name,” King said. “They’ll be dancing in the streets because of who his father was and because of his posture that says, ‘Pull out of the Middle East. Pull out of this conflict.’ “
And McSame’s campaign ad on his website is an immense insult to everyone that fought in WW2. Attacking and occupying a defenseless country for their oil, revenge, misplaced revenge, the belief that we have to “fight them over there” or whatever the bullshit reasons for our military presence in Iraq, is not comparable in any way to WW2.
McSame is already showing us that he is going to be a worse leader than Bush. And I didn’t think that was possible. But then neither did I ever imagine that we would be the cave people we have become. Come to think of it, maybe cave people were better than this. This should be called the “Man in the Cave” (rather than Arena):
McSame, please go climb back into the cave you came out of and please take Ferraro and Rep. Steve King with you. It stresses me out terribly just to post this and thereby give it the attention none of this deserves.
