Thanks, bushtool. L. does have some issues with stress (he wants to be perfect at everything, from school to taekwondo to guitar), and I work with him on relaxing visualization. Unfortunately, his brain wiring is made for migraines, as it comes down from my grandfather to my mom to me and now to him.

The teen boys I know who went through migraines in late elementary school and middle school tell me the headaches ended on their own by age 14 or 15, so I'm hoping L. gets a break and that he will, eventually, see a natural end to these.

Best wishes to your spouse - I know about weekender migraines. One of my worst was the day before my wedding, when all the arrangements were finally made and all that was left to do was walk down the aisle... Thankfully, there was demerol in the house.

Sorry about your son's migraine problem. I am lucky that I've only had a couple in my entire life. I suffer from chronic sinus headaches instead.

There are some prescriptions that kind of work. Have you tried <a href="http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0NAH/is_3_32/ai_84212097" target="blank" rel="nofollow">meditation as a therapy?</a>

My spouse gets migraines on Sundays after crashing from a stressful week so I know they can be triggered by a sudden reduction in high stress levels. Therefore managing the day to day stress level helps to manage the migraine. Just my two cents

You have to give the Senate an "A" for consistently being on the wrong side of most every issue.

Do you really think Harry Reid would have voted against telcom immunity if it had a chance of not passing? It is all a shell game.

Except for one or two of them, hope I live to see the day that this pack of weasels are fired and replaced with people that care about something more than power, money and fear.
