		<description>A few years ago Wells Fargo offered its customers a lower interest rate on their home loans so I called and made the request but didn't get the promised paperwork.  To make things short, they said my mailing address (a PO box where they had been billing me!) did not match my home address.  After a couple of go arounds and repeatedly missed promises, I filed a complaint with the State of Washington.  Told that Congress had removed banking oversight from the states and handed it to the Comptroller General, I redirected my complaint there.  They acknowledged receipt, but then it went into the Black Hole.  Remember this when folks are telling you insurance companies would be better regulated nationally rather than state by state.  

By the way, I told the lady at Wells Fargo that maybe they could get away with this but so thought Enron...</description>
