WSPC Caucus meeting Jan. 25th-26th, 2008
Agenda for Friday 25th 6:30pm :
WSPC hospitality room 279 at the host hotel (Red Lion-Quay, Map). Italian - meatballs and Italian sausage sandwiches with roasted green peppers, onions and cheese. Salads and other Italian dishes welcomed. Desserts, too! A suggested $10 donation will be gratefully accepted.

Proposed January call for agendaThe Washington State Progressive Caucus will officially meet Saturday morning at 7:30 AM January 26th at the West River 2 Room in conjunction with the State party meeting in Vancouver, WA.
The agenda so far includes consideration of the latest version of the bylaws (separate email follows), election of a new caucus chair and a presentation considering a Spiritual Progressives caucus by Sharon Abreu. Please submit any other agenda items and resolutions to be considered to executive board secretary Martha Koester (fomalhaut2003@yahoo.com) by January 17th so that we can email the final agenda to our membership by the 18th. So far, the only statement submitted for the chair position is by Chad Lupkes, our current Western Washington Vice-Chair (email follows). Please submit a statement to the Secretary if you intend to run for the position; statements will forwarded to the membership as received. 2008 dues must be paid before or at the State Party meeting.
We will have a potluck and hospitality suite Friday night January 25th, location and program to be announced. The potluck will be at 6:30PM and the hospitality suite at 8:00PM. For the potluck we will be serving meat ball sandwiches and Italian sausage sandwiches. Please bring a salad or dessert, a donation, or just the pleasure of your company.
The host hotel is Red Lion Hotel Vancouver at the Quay, 100 Columbia St. in Vancouver, WA 98660. Reserve rooms by calling the hotel at 694-8341 or (800) 733-5466. The WA State Democrats rate is $89.95 for a single queen bed and $89.95 for a double queen bed. Rooms must be reserved by Friday, January 11th, 2008.

The Washington State Democratic Central Committee Meeting will be held January 25th and 26th in Vancouver. The host hotel and the meeting location is the Red Lion Hotel Vancouver at the Quay (100 Columbia St., Vancouver, WA 98660).
Hospitality Suites on Friday, January 25th
It is preferred that all “Hospitality Suites” on Friday, January 25th be at the host hotel the Red Lion Hotel Vancouver at the Quay. Please note that only regular guest rooms and meeting rooms are available. Keep in mind that if you rent a meeting room, you will need to use Red Lion catering and will not be able to bring in your own food and beverages.
