I had meant to, but knew that multiple deadlines and my unusually short (as of late) attention span would mean I wouldn't be able to do it justice. This one's scary, folks. The important thing for all of us, no matter what side of the aisle we sit on in this bread and circuses we call democracy, this is going to have far reaching consequences. To put it another way, think how terrified that the Bush apologist camp are going to be after the Dems take the Whitehouse. This is the precedent this current president has set up, with full compliance of a spineless legislature. I wish we could all get along long enough to oust these bastards - regardless of party - who are selling this country up the river. There I go, getting violently radical. Maybe that's the point. When we go into the Democratic wash-cycle, we'll have all real Americans united against these fascist plutocrats, and there WILL be a need to clamp down on ALL OF US. Thanks for covering this, Slim.
