The Columbian has a piece today on some of the praiseworthy people that have been participating in sign waving for peace and justice every Thursday afternoon for several years now on the corners in front of the main library. There is also a video of them to the right of the article.
A big shout out to them for all they have done and continue to do to try to make things better for us all in these “times that try men’s (and women’s) souls”.
PS: Edie and Gary Cotton were not covered in this article but are two of the most dedicated of the bunch! Edie has been there practically each and every week and provided a variety of great signs for me to wave whenever I have taken the time to exercise my free speech right. And there are many others that have participated and deserve our thanks.
