Democracy for Vancouver

I propose that the only way to regain our corrupt government is to GO ON STRIKE. Necessary positions such as fire, police and medical could still work but the rest of us should just stay home. We can survive a month or two at home if we stick together. People brag how they would be willing to die for their country. Really? Would you be willing to lose two months pay to regain the cantrol of your government? Or do you just want to keep on pretending and rationalizing that it really hasn’t happened yet. A strike could start at the local level and hopefully spread regionally, then nationally. Our Federal government is so incredibly and totally corrupt that I see a strike as a solution to our problem. The Democratic and Republican parties are both bought and paid for. Politicians tell us how much they are trying to help us, all the while they are screwing us. Impeachment is off the table, the endless war and occupation is still funded, the constitution and the truth have been trampled into the dirt, and what does our Democratic controlled Congress pass? CAFTA, a condemnation of MOVEON.ORG, an extention of FISA, continued funding of the war, and all the while we get lip service as to how hard they are working for us and how their hands are tied. LIES, LIES, and more LIES!!!! Have you heard the rumors of a possible catastrophic economic collapse caused by our ELEVEN TRILLION DOLLAR national debt and the resulting weakening of the US dollar? Wake up!!!! For Chist’s sake wake up!!!!! If not for our sake, then for your children and grandchildrens sake. WE ARE AMERICANS!!!!! We do not give up our rights and control our government without a fight. Now is the time to fight back. There are a lot more of us than there are of them. Remember, “WE ARE THE PEOPLE”, we can fight back, we must fight back, WE WILL FIGHT BACK!!!! Reverend King started with a small group of dedicated people and their efforts made a huge differnce in this world. We can do the same. We need to organize, educate and participate. A citizen has a duty to be informed and hold his representatives accountable for their actions. We call and write our representatives and they do not answer. We are given the illusion of fair elections by a corporate media that has their own agenda. A national strike puts US back in control. They must listen to us then. I am ready to do this are you?
