We need better laws for dealing with the mentally ill so they can be kept stabilized on their meds for their own health and safety ... and provided warm, clean, and supervised housing. Jailing these folks or forcing them out of the area is not the answer. Families cannot handle this on their own. Try living with a hallucinating schizophrenic up all hours in your home.
