Sirota needs your help

If you're tuned into the excellent political analysis at David Sirota's Sirotablog, he's got a new syndicated column.  Ideally, this column would be in printed, say, the Columbian.  Maybe balance out the rantings of Elizabeth Hovde and crew?   Here's how you can help:

So, if you support my writing and think we need a strong, progressive populist voice to counter the glut of right-wing syndicated columnists on the editorial pages of local newspapers, then please EMAIL OR CALL YOUR LOCAL EDITORIAL PAGE EDITORS and let them know you'd like them to run my weekly Creators Syndicate column.

So if you're interested in seeing some actual balance on the local bird cage liner, you might want to contact the fine folks at The Columbian:

Website: www.columbian.com
Phone: (360) 694-3391
Fax: (360) 699-6033
Address: 701 8th St Vancouver, WA 98666

My favorite article from Sirota still remains The Money Party vs. The People Party:

This is the real divide that matters in politics - not Republicans and Democrats, but Money vs. People. Don’t let the pundits’ calls for nebulous “bipartisanship” fool you. Don’t let the pledges of “civility” from politicians divert your attention. There is too much bipartisanship in pursuit of selling out, and too much civility that hides a very uncivil class war that Congress has waged - and may continue to wage - on middle America.

  2. David Sirota understands that money is the problem.

If Hillary believes lobbyists and their money influence are making America a better country, then having her as President will mean little will change for the better in Washington D.C. Sirota has more on this subject here.

Sirota supports clean election legislation and was a keynote speaker at Washington Public Campaign’s recent Town Hall in Seattle. He is a great author, political writer and truth-seeker.
