Campbell running against Tonkovich


According to The Columbian today:

Pat Campbell, who almost unseated state Rep. Jim Dunn, R-Vancouver, last November, filed for the seat Tonkovich has held for the past 16 years. Campbell ran for Vancouver council two years ago and received 44 percent of the vote in an unsuccessful campaign against Councilwoman Pat Jollota.

  1. Any newcomer to the city council would be a huge improvement over the bunch there now. The incumbents are the ones who will not let the citizens vote on how their taxpayers money is being spent, such as the pink elephant of the Hilton.

  2. Well said Allen. We need people to step up and run for all current Vancouver council races. Basically, all anyone wants (right, left, or middle) is Democracy for Vancouver. We wont get that without competitive races.
