Democracy for Vancouver

For those of you who might have missed this gem from the opinion section of The Columbian about the passing of Jerry. Thanks for the sentiment, Larry (comment #7).

Well, that big fat blob is dead and homosexuals, the gay community and the Democrats, especially Bill Clinton lost a hater. He won’t be in Heaven or Hell because neither exists and right about now he has to be convinced there is something to evolution because he is now going to be a part of tomorrows’ petroleum. To me Jerry Falwell was a conman tele-evangelist not much different than Jim Bakker who he replaced, Ted Haggard, or Jimmy Swaggert, who hadn’t been caught yet and who used religion and stupid people to buy their multimillion dollar homes. Any body who believes feminists, abortionists, homosexuals and Bill Clinton were to blame for the destruction of the World Trade Center undoubtedly are the ones who put coins on the plate every Sunday and always vote Republican and let’s hope none of them ever get a government office or a seat on the Supreme Court. I am severely disappointed he didn’t last another year or so. I wanted him to see Hilary Clinton win the presidency by a landslide and gleefully watch him turn purple as a teletubby.
