Brandon Mayfield, who recently won a $2 million wrongful arrest lawsuit against the federal government and is continuing to challenge the constitutionality of the USA Patriot Act.
Other panelists include:
* Zaha Hassan and Tom Nelson, attorneys representing Al-Haramain Islamic Foundation, Inc. and two of its lawyers in a suit challenging the federal government’s warrantless surveillance program;
* Sam Kauffman, a Portland attorney representing Guantanamo detainees in lawsuits against the federal government;
* and Kayse Jama, Founder/Director of the Center for Intercultural Organizing.
