VANCOUVER, Wa.– Nearly 50 conscientious objectors braved rather brisk weather–and why not…those for whom we stood in protest are dealing with far worse–to stand in solidarity with the estimated tens of thousands like minded folk in Washington D.C., not to mention thousands more in more than 50 cities across the country, including one in Olympia, to demand an end to the madness that is the American occupation of Iraq. A madness that is plain to all but a dwindling number of Kool-Aid quaffers. They’re easy to identify, just look for either a thumb(s) down or a different digit raised as they drive by. Sorry, Bushistas, but your pretty yellow ribbons do insufficient amends for the damage wrought by your Fearless Leader make.
