I applaud Mr. Baird for his relatively strong stand, and would like to hear how our newly reissued Senator feels about this abrogation of the national will by President Bush.
Mr. Bush has proven again and again to be a liar, an incompetent, and the tool of corporations and imperialists. Even worse, he has pulled along with him most members of Congress and, until recently a mojority of the public - all of whom were willing to slaughter the innocent people of Iraq for the fiction of security.

If we can ever come to our senses again, and the position of Mr. Baird is a start, perhaps we can reclaim our noble birthright, so tarnished by our collective lack of moral compass.

Thanks for putting up the audio for that; I missed it.
I hope Baird and his ilk put their political capital where their mouth is and do something about it.
