Clean Elections in Washington
Gov. Christine Gregoire has announced her plan to push for legislation that would provide public financing for judicial races in Washington. Public financing for judicial elections is an important step in removing the undue influence of special interest money on Washington’s judicial elections. Public financing of judicial campaigns allows candidates and sitting judges to seek office without courting contributions from parties to the cases that come before them.
Send a letter to the governor thanking her for her efforts to pass Clean Elections in your state.
