It was fun seeing some of the ‘Couv’s progressive frontline folks at The Quay, where Admiral John and I crashed the bash graciously hosted by Vancouver for Peace. The highlight of the evening for me was Little Ricky’s concession speech, Hastert’s and the part where Dorothy throws the bucket of water on Katherine Harris and she turns into a smoking puddle. John and I banged our heads together on strategies for DFV and we got to see the big housecleaning go down a big screen TV.
Nice.
All in all it’s a helluva improvement over the dismall election night event at the same venue two years ago.
