Reps started Iraq conflict, Dems must end it


Clark County Dems chime out about a MSNBC video featuring a brief interview of Rep. Brian Baird about Rove and Iraq. I remember back in 2003 running into Rep. Baird for the first time (I moved from Florida at the beginning of 2003) at Esther Short Park shortly after the Iraq conflict started.

He was immediately confronted by someone at the park about the Iraq conflict and his response was that he voted against the war but that there was nothing that could be done about it as long as the Republicans had control of Congress.

Hopefully that is about to change. If so, I hope Congressman Baird remembers that it is now time to end it.
