And since he has already packed the Supremes with his loyalists, he has nothing to worry about even if the process could be hastened up. Our forefathers did not foresee that our leaders could become complicit in ignoring what are obviously gross violations of the law. Does anyone REALLY think that wiretapping Americans with no oversight is legal? Even if the Supreme Court rules that it is legal, does anyone think that makes it OK? Think about the messages being sent to young people? "Mommy, why should I obey the rules if our (P)resident doesn't?" "Why is our government spying on us?" Our Federal government is unchecked and unbalanced. Bush has proven the constitution is "just a piece of paper" to be ignored at will.
